The terms of invitation to the Töreki Colony of
Artists:
- The selection of artists is led by the
professional leadership of the Colony.
- The aspects of the collection’s
development are determining the course of selection.
- The official form of
invitation is the contract (agreement) entered by the artist and the Colony.
- The contract contains details of the responsibilities both of the artist and
the Colony.
Responsibilities of the artist:
- Purchasing all the
materials for creating.
- Transporting the materials of work to the Töreki Colony
of Artists.
- Financing of their travel.
- Transferring the rights of proprietary
and reproduction of the works - which were created during the period of time
spent at the Colony - to the Ltd. that is supporting the Töreki Colony of
Artists.
Responsibilities of the Colony:
- Providing
accomodation and full board for the invited artist.
- Documenting the artist's
creative work in Töreki.
- Reproductions of the pieces of art completed at Töreki
are published in the Colony’s yearbooks and catalogues.
- These publications
contain essays of renowned art-historians about the art and works of the
artist.
- An annual collective exhibition shows those works of the artist which
the collection purchased.
